Nail polish has the innate ability to alter your mood. It’s not surprising that, in the year of the never ending winter, bright colors were spotted as soon as the spring polish collections launched in late winter. This year’s collections are quite literal in their interpretation of spring, with both Illamasqua and Deborah Lippmman imitating the robin’s egg, a symbol synonmymous with the start of spring. Pastels, of course, are quite popular with the season, yet many brands, such as Estée Lauder (above) veered on the edge of bold brights in shades that will work well into the summer.
