Audrey in Rome

Following in his brother’s footsteps, Audrey Hepburn’s youngest son, Luca Dotti, has paid homage to his iconic mother in Audrey in Rome. Through never before seen photographs and insightful details of her often imitated and admired style, the compilation spans three decades of her life in Rome (1950s through 1970s) in which Audrey’s style was reflective of each era, yet remained quintessentially ‘Audrey’. Within each decade, the star’s style resume is categorized in the spotlight, on the set, and far from the stage-a time at which Audrey stepped away from Hollywood, dedicating her life to charity work on behalf of  UNICEF.  In addition to her exquisite sartorial tastes (those that were enhanced by close friendships with both Hubert de Givenchy and Salvatore Ferragamo), Dotti’s heartfelt introduction details Hepburn as a woman who cherished family, a simple life, and above all else, the well-being of others.
