Simple Pleasures

Here are a few of my favorite (mostly food-related :) moments from the trip. Above: Loaded up on my share of Dairy Queen. Word is NYC locations will crop up near the South Ferry subway station in late fall, and in Times Square this November or December!!!!!

Above and below: Lunch at Gandy Dancer. Thanks to their texture, I normally refer to shrimp as “sea grubs,” but Gandy Dancer’s Coconut Macadamia Encrusted Shrimp make me feel otherwise.

Missing pool time dearly. We may stop by a pop-up pool at Brooklyn Bridge Park this weekend.

Screen Shot 2013-07-24 at 9.00.11 PM In true tradition, Ann Arbor’s Art Fair fell on the season’s hottest and most-prone-to-natural-disasters week of the year. That being said, we made a quick in-and-out trip, stopping to catch a glimpse of our favorite art stands (and ate lunch at 10 AM to beat the crowds). DSC_0811
