Best All-Natural Deodorants

If there’s one beauty product you need to hold up in the sweltering summer heat, it’s deodorant.  While there’s no conclusive evidence that the aluminum-based compound (and parabens, less frequently)  found in traditional deodorants and antiperspirants is linked to breast cancer, there’s certainly no need to take risks.  After testing many natural deodorants that simply don’t have staying power, particularly in fast-paced city living and its no-holds-barred humidity, I’ve found, and regularly use, a few I believe comparable to regular deodorants/antiperspirants. In terms of strength, all stood the test-in humidity, stress, and exercise, without a trace of the chemically smell of many deodorants.

From L to R: Nourish Organic Deodorant in Almond Vanilla, $7.99. Found here / Dr. Hauschka Deodorant Fresh, $22.95. Found here / Malin + Goetz Eucalyptus Deodorant, $18. Found here.

Others worth noting: Weleda’s Deodorant Spray in Sage, $6.75. Found here. Real Purity Deodorant, $10. Found here.

  1. Great post! I have seen bloggers are increasingly interested in natural deodorants however a lot of them has been saying its the staying power that really annoys them. The reviews I’ve read are mostly by female bloggers so it will be interesting to see what a male blogger’s perception would be. – A blog for the modern man

  2. I’ve never given a second thought to what kind of deodorant I use … or natural vs “regular.” I might have to try one of these out!
