While Kate Bosworth has commanded Hollywood audiences since earning her SAG card at fifteen with 1998’s The Horse Whisperer, the past decade has seen the actress transition into bona fide fashion darling territory, acting as muse to numerous designers, including Proenza Schouler and Calvin Klein’s Francisco Costa. Bosworth, featured on the cover of this month’s personal style Bible, Lucky, has shown her fashion prowess in the creative side of the business, including in notably boho collaborations with both Topshop this past spring (a coachella-inspired collection that quickly sold out), and JewelMint (of which she is cofounder). ‘The Collection’, however, the second collaboration from Bosworth and Topshop, features pieces that take after her more minimalist side (check out her simple, yet stunning custom-made Oscar de la Renta wedding gown). Items, ranging from $35-$995, are both basics (including a spin on the basic gray T), as well as the unconventional (a tin foil-esque shirt and skirt), yet remain within a Mondrian palette of white, black, and the occasional red. While the campaign features Bosworth in a more high fashion interpretation of the collection, complete with the slicked back hair seen on the fall runways, these pieces, broken into separates or as a whole, are wearable for the everygirl.
