Many of us wish it were socially acceptable roll out of bed and go about our days clad in pajamas, and while many high schoolers do, crinkled pants and bedheads do not translate well at the office. It was a dream come true (ah, puns) to see pajamas-as-daywear infiltrate the runway, in chic ’30s cuts and fabrics, at Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs, and Rochas. For its current collection, Zara adapted the slip to its lingerie-style dresses and tops, while J.Crew’s New Girl–esque pajamas can alternate as a more laid back dress shirt, paired with jeans and blazers.
