Cafe Colette’s French toast in roasted nectarine and white wine sauce is by far the best I’ve ever had, and therefore served as my Saturday and Sunday brunch.

Bakeri, a tiny artisanal bakery nestled in a North Williamsburg neighborhood a few blocks from mine, certainly made me glad I had scheduled a SoulCycle for the next morning…and then accidentally slept through it due to daylight savings time.


In terms of investments, a bookshelf in a Brooklyn apartment goes a loooong way. Three and a half years living in New York, and it took me this long?

J.Crew has been popping out major sales left and right, and however much I may refrain from being sucked into sales, these bow-topped pumps won me over.

I started a new job this past week (!), and refreshed my desk space with this lucite stapler and tape dispenser set from Anthropologie. The personalized pencils at left were a Christmas present for my sister that I hope cheer up her own office :)

    Love those green plants! Is it high maintenance? Here in Singapore its so hot, hard to keep a plant. Wondering what those plants are called and thinking of getting one. :)

    1. Not high maintenance at all! During the winter you only have to water once a month, and then once a week when it’s warmer. They’re called succulent plants, and are relatively inexpensive (mine were $10 per plant). Many people build little terrariums for them like these:
